CAIR has opposed proposed Usa laws and executive orders which might have selected the Muslim Brotherhood for a foreign terrorist Group, stating that this type of designation would "inevitably be Employed in a political campaign to attack those same teams and individuals, to marginalize the American Muslim Local community and to demonize Islam".[62]
